Follow the instructions below depending on where the bell icon/widget is visible.
The PushOwl Flyout widget is a pop-up notification tool designed to engage customers on product pages. It notifies shoppers about Back in Stock or Price Drop updates, allowing them to subscribe for alerts.
If the Widget (Bell Icon) is Visible Only on Product Pages (Price Drop or Back in Stock - Flyout Widget):
The Flyout widget appears when Back in Stock or Price Drop automations are enabled for a product. If an item goes out of stock or its price drops, the widget will appear on the relevant product page.
Go to the All Automation settings.
Find the toggle switch associated with the Price drop or Back-in-stock Automation.
Toggle off the switch to disable the bell icon/widget for these specific notifications.
If the Widget (Bell Icon) is Visible on All Pages (Opt-in Flyout Widget):
Go to the Opt-in settings.
Scroll down the page to locate the flyout widget option.
Disable the flyout widget by toggling off the switch and hitting Save.
Note: The Flyout widget cannot be customized to appear only on specific pages. Its behavior is uniform across all product pages where the triggering conditions are met.
By following the steps mentioned above, you will be able to disable the bell icon/widget based on its visibility on either product pages or all pages.
