Resizing your images to the recommended size helps fit the image perfectly with each device. If your hero images are not as per the recommended size, your hero images will be resized automatically by the browser, leaving unnecessary white space around the image.
How to resize hero images?
Click on the re-sizer icon indicated by the error message.
After clicking on the re-size icon, an image editor opens with re-sizing options. Below, we've chosen to edit the 'windows hero image.'
Following are the edit options available in the image editor,
Cropping an image while maintaining the recommended aspect ratio
Dragging an image to fit the recommended frame size
Zooming in and out to adjust and get the desired image
Once you're happy with your image, Click on 'Save Image and close' to see the changes take effect. You can view your edits in the image preview.
