Generating and Editing Hero Images with PushOwl AI

You can create a hero image from scratch or edit an existing one using AI, right inside the campaign editor. This is useful when you don't have a ready-made image on hand, or when you want to make quick changes without leaving PushOwl.

AI-generated and edited images follow the same guidelines as any hero image. Windows displays the full image, while Android may crop the top and bottom edges, so keep important content within the central safe zone. Generating an image with AI

  1. On the 'Create Notification' page, click on the 'diamond' icon next to the Hero Image section. This opens the AI panel on the side.

  2. Enter a prompt describing the image you'd like to create, then click 'Generate'.

  3. You don't need to stay on the side panel while the image is being created. You can close it and see the generation in progress below the 'Upload Image' button.

  4. Once the image is ready, click on the thumbnail to add it to your notification. If you kept the side panel open, click 'Use Image' instead.

  5. Use the notification preview to see how your image will appear on each platform.

Editing an image with AI

You can also use AI to make changes to an image you've already uploaded.

  1. Upload an image under the Hero Image section.

  2. Click on the 'Edit with AI' button. This opens the AI panel on the side.

  3. Enter a prompt describing the changes you'd like to make, then click 'Generate'.

  4. Once the edited image is ready, click on the thumbnail to add it to your notification.
