Note: This is still a beta feature available for Enterprise users. Please contact our Support team to set up A/B testing quickly.

A/B testing is a method of comparing two versions of a marketing campaign against each other to determine which one performs better. You may want to test out what kind of title works better, whether emojis have a higher CTR or not, whether 2 buttons are better than one, and see what tweaks within your web push have a positive impact on your campaign performance.

How It Works

Currently, this is what A/B testing on PushOwl looks like. Once our support team sets up your A/B testing groups, you will find the two segments on the "Segments" page on your PushOwl dashboard.

Sending Campaigns With A/B Testing

To use your A/B segments, you can follow the same steps as you create a campaign. However, on the 'Campaign details' page, under 'Segments', click on the dropdown to pick the group you want to send the campaign to.

To replicate the same campaign that you sent to "Partition A" and make a few changes, you can just click on "Duplicate" next to the campaign you just sent/ scheduled for the first group.

Once you duplicate the campaign, change the "Sending to" option to "Partition B".

Viewing Your A/B Testing Campaigns

You can view your campaigns sent to your test groups on the 'Campaigns' page.
