TL;DR. From scratch to Live, a multi-channel popup takes about 5 minutes through the campaign wizard.
Before you start
Have at least one discount code ready in Shopify (or skip the reward step).
Decide which channels you want to collect: Email, SMS, Web Push, or any combination.
Step 1: Pick a template
In the dashboard, go to Forms > Campaigns > Create campaign. Pick Overlay popup (other types are coming).
You'll see a template grid: Studio, Minimal, Promo, and more. Click one to preview, then click Next to use it.
Step 2: Brand your popup
Set the popup's primary color, font, and logo. Settings here apply globally to every step in the popup; you can tweak per-step in the editor later.
To add a logo:
Click Add logo.
Paste a public image URL (Shopify file URL, ImageKit URL, etc.).
Step 3: Position the teaser
The Teaser is the small tab that floats on the page before the visitor opens the full popup. Choose its position (corner of the screen) and whether to show it before the popup auto-opens.
Step 4: Choose the first step
Decide what visitors see when the popup opens. Most common picks:
Micro Commitment (a low-friction yes/no question, e.g. "Want a discount?").
Email (jump straight to email collection).
Gamification (start with the game).
Step 5: Pick collection channels
Turn on one, two, or all three: Email, Phone / SMS, Web Push. The wizard adds a step per channel in the order you pick.
Step 6: Add a reward
Reward the visitor for subscribing:
Static discount code (one code for everyone, e.g.
WELCOME10).Unique-per-subscriber code from a discount pool (each subscriber gets a different code).
No reward: skip this step.
Step 7: Set basic triggers
When should the popup appear?
Wait time: seconds on page before the popup opens.
Scroll depth: percentage scrolled before the popup opens.
Exit intent: open just before the visitor leaves.
You can layer more advanced rules later in the Targeting dialog.
