Advanced campaign features allow you to further enhance and customize your campaign.

Schedule

When you’re managing an online store, there are way too many things to do and not enough time to do them in. To make life easier for yourself, you can use the ‘Schedule’ option to create and schedule your campaigns ahead of time.

Here’s how you can schedule a campaign:

1. Click on the 'New Campaign' button to start a new campaign.

2. On the Campaign details page, navigate to 'Sending Options'

3. Select 'Schedule'.

4. Click on the date under 'Schedule' to pick the date and time you want to schedule your campaign for.

Once you've finished crafting your campaign, you can review the details of the campaign and make any changes on the 'Summary' page.

You can edit or stop the schedule campaign before it goes live.

Your scheduled campaign will now appear in the ‘Scheduled' tab on your ‘Campaigns’ page. On the right side of the campaign's details, you’ll have options to Edit, Cancel or Duplicate your scheduled campaign.

Flash Sale

Subscribers can receive notifications on their devices only if their device is connected to the internet. Let’s say you want to run a 24-hour flash sale on your store and you send a campaign about it to your subscribers.

All the subscribers whose devices are connected to the internet will receive your notification immediately. But what about the subscribers who come online after the flash sale is already over? They will end up receiving a notification for a flash sale which is no longer live, creating a bad customer experience for the subscriber, and a poor user experience for you.

That’s where the ‘Flash Sale’ feature comes in handy. Set the date and time when you want the campaign to stop being delivered, and PushOwl will ensure that any subscribers whose devices come online after the expiry time has passed, will not receive the notification.

Here’s how you can set an expiry time for your campaign:

1. Click on the 'New Campaign' button to start a new campaign.

2. On the Campaign details page, navigate to 'Campaign Type'.

3. Click on the dropdown and select 'Flash Sale Campaign'.

4. The date picker will appear on the right side of the screen.

5. Select the date and time you want the campaign to stop sending.

Once you've finished crafting your campaign, you can review the details of the campaign and make any changes on the 'Summary' page.

On the 'Campaigns' page, all campaigns sent with an expiry date will have a 'Flash Sale' tag on them

Smart Delivery

If you’re operating an online store with customers all over the world, sending a campaign to your subscribers will be tricky. While some of them will receive it during the day, it will be night time for the subscribers on the opposite side of the globe.

Furthermore, different people have different purchasing behaviors. Some prefer to do their shopping during the day, while others might be doing it in the evening or at night. So what can be done to improve engagement & conversions in such situations?

The solution is ‘Smart Delivery’, which available on the Enterprise plans.

Smart Delivery uses machine learning to figure out when your subscribers are active and likely to engage with your notification. Using this data, it breaks down the campaign delivery over a 24 hour period (depending on when you subscriber is most likely to be active), instead of sending it immediately to everyone. This ensures that you get more engagement and conversions with your campaigns.

Here's how you can enable Smart Delivery:

1. Click on the 'New Campaign' button to start a new campaign.

2. On the Campaign details page, navigate to 'Advanced'.

3. Click on the checkbox to enable smart delivery.

On the 'Campaigns' page, all campaigns sent with this feature enabled will have a 'Smart Delivery' tag on them.
