Why This Matters
PushOwl uses Shopify app pixels to track customer actions like page views, add to cart, checkout, and purchase. These events allow us to send messages at the right time, improve message accuracy, maintain healthy abandoned cart recovery (ACR), and drive more sales for your store.
If pixel access is “Optimized", some events may not reach PushOwl. This can reduce performance and impact your results.
What Setting Should I Use?
Setting | Impact |
Always on | All events reach PushOwl. Best performance. |
Optimized | Some events may be blocked. Reduced accuracy. |
Restricted | Many events blocked. Missing data likely. |
Recommended: Always on ensures PushOwl receives all required events without interruption.
Not recommended: Optimized or restricted access may block some events and cause missing data.
